Massage therapy has many healing benefits for the mind, body and spirit. Massage reduces stress, tension and mental fatigue. It relieves muscular tension and stiffness and improves the supply of nutrients to cells. Massage increases flexibility and mobilization of joints and assists in healing muscle tissue.
Energy therapies explore the subtle factors that underlie health conditions. These systems look beneath surface, mechanistic explanations of symptoms to address deeper causes of healing and disease. Energy therapies are effective, gentle and safe encounters with generally unseen factors in physical, emotional and mental wellness. Energy therapies offer a new paradigm for wellness...the idea that healing comes from within.

Jason Frank B.S.N., R.N., MAT Therapist, has been a Registered Nurse since 2005 working in areas such as neuro-trauma, cardiac recovery, Intensive care, home hospice, and correctional healthcare. His medical training began as a cross trained airborne infantryman/combat life saver and medic in the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division. A shoulder injury incurred in 1994 during a military parachute jump led Jason to an MAT therapist in 2007 where complete use was returned to a shoulder that only had 10% function and avoiding surgery. This profound improvement and the following MAT sessions drove him to become a MAT therapist. The unique and personal nature of MAT encouraged Jason to transition his career in nursing for a position in which he can get to know clients on a personal and long term relationship in aiding them in improved health.
Reiki, pronounced "ray-key", is an ancient and natural form of stress reduction and amplified healing. Reiki literally means Universal Life Force Energy. It is applied through non-invasive gentle touch. Reiki assists with removing emotional and physical trauma from the body. Through Reiki, people, and animals, become extremely relaxed which then allows most to let go of pain and release tension that they may not have even known they were holding. The benefits of Reiki are numerous. Here is a short list that many of our clients have expressed:
- Deep Relaxation
- Pain Relief
- Increased Energy
- Enhanced Connection to Spirit
- Decreases Recovery Time After Injury or Surgery
- Overall Feeling of Well-Being
These benefits are felt long beyond the Reiki session. A Reiki session is a clothes-on session and lasts about 75 minutes. Each session is customized to meet the needs of the individual, often including the use of gemstones and crystals, Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls and spiritual guidance.
